The Philosophy behind the East Winds Garden Spa is to stay at one with nature. We grow many medicinal plants and herbs. We avoid using any harsh chemicals on your skin, preferring instead to focus on natural organic treatments using ingredients from the environment around us to relax, rejuvenate and energize you.

Glenda our Room Reservations manager has been with the organization from 2004. Although she is hidden behind the scene, nonetheless, she is very bubbly and outgoing and is always ready to help. Glenda is an amazing lady with a friendly smile and great personality that catches your attention no matter where you are

East Winds Resort History
The original owners of East Winds were Richard & Margaret Egerer about 50 years ago. Margaret was a botanist who loved the many rainforest plants on the property and gradually tamed them into garden. With her talent for grafting fruit trees and nurturing difficult-to-cultivate plants, Margaret took the first step towards the development of the beautiful garden as it is now.
EAST WINDS GARDEN
Cocoa "Theobroma cacao" is a tangible tree plant originating in South America. A ripe fruit can reach a weight of up to 500 grams and shimmers in the most beautiful colors, depending on the variety . This fruit can go from tree to chocolate bar in hours. Find this delicacy in our garden on property.
