WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next few days. Low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause a few brief showers over Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.
A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to impact visibility and air quality across the region today. A gradual reduction in dust concentration is expected during the next 24 hours.
A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 10 mph or 17 km/h.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic
GENERAL INFORMATION
*The Gym Currently is closed. However, there are resistance bands and dumb bells in the yoga pavilion for your physical therapy and other daily exercise use.
* There are enough Beach Lounges for everyone - there is no need to reserve.
*Beware of sea urchins lurking on the rocks.
* Fit Trail is opened.
* Teatime from 4:00pm - 5:00pm in the Bamboo Lounge. Enjoy an assortment of teas, coffee and freshly baked pastries.
* Visit our Boutique at Reception for Natural Skin Products and Locally made Earrings, Pendants, Bracelets and Necklaces.
* Bedroom amenities are hotel's property. However, inquiries on purchase of items could be made at reception.

East Winds Resort History
The original owners of East Winds were Richard & Margaret Egerer about 50 years ago. Margaret was a botanist who loved the many rainforest plants on the property and gradually tamed them into garden. With her talent for grafting fruit trees and nurturing difficult-to-cultivate plants, Margaret took the first step towards the development of the beautiful garden as it is now.

EAST WINDS GARDEN
PAPAYA - A papaya is a tropical, melon-like fruit that is oval or cylindrical in shape and ranges in size from 3 - 20 inches long. The skin is smooth and green when unripe, transitioning to yellow or orange when ripe. The flesh is thick, juicy, and ranges in color from yellow to salmon-pink. Inside, a large cavity contains numerous round, black seeds.

The Philosophy behind the East Winds Garden Spa is to stay at one with nature. We grow many medicinal plants and herbs. We avoid using any harsh chemicals on your skin, preferring instead to focus on natural organic treatments using ingredients from the environment around us to relax, rejuvenate and energize you.

Meet Kurby, one of our restaurant supervisor's. He has been employed with the resort for the past 15 years providing excellent customer service to you our guest. He has a bubbly personality, he's a hard worker, organized, dependable and thoughtful.
